Summary: This place has so much potential. The house itself is beautiful. It really needs a good cleaning.. mostly exterior. There are so many spider weds and wasp nest around the porch areas. They definitely have an ant problem on the inside. I figure that issue would have been resolved from the previous guest complaints but its an ongoing issue. The water pressure is the worst, especially on the top floor, where the kitchen is. There's plenty of plates and silverware, not enough coffee cups(3-4), and they need a new set of pots. The only tv to work was on the top floor, which is the main living area. non of the other TVs worked in the bedrooms because of the crappy internet. The internet is also an ongoing problem from complaints of previous guest. The furniture was nice, the beds comfortable, the decor really nice as well. If they would just take care of the ants , which are a big nuisance because they get into everything. We even brought some home. That's how bad they are. If you're sitting on the porch, you have the wasp and dirt daubers to compete with. The outside of the house and the porches needs a good pressure wash. Despite all of that, we still had a good time!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s a little confusing when you first get in the home. Once we figured out where everything was we had no problems. My husband & I came for a Talladega race with our 14 yr old son & his 2 friends. We stayed on the 3rd floor master where the kitchen & main living area are. They boys stayed in the rooms on the 2nd floor and had use of the 1st floor with living area, hot tub, sauna & pool table without disturbing us. The elevator & all amenities were great. WiFi never worked, even after it was reset by staff, but it was no biggie bc we just casted from our phones. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: The house was beautiful and in a great location. I stayed there with some coworkers while we worked on Anniston Army Depot. The only cliche was the internet didn’t work so we had to use our cell phone hot spots. Other than that we had a great time. There was plenty of room in the kitchen, dining room and living room area for us to collaborate and discuss the days events. Highly recommended.

Summary: Great view! House is nice and large but floor plan is awkward. Three stories with no indoor stairs, elevator works but seemed a little shaky. Main floor with kitchen and living area is on 3rd floor. Not a problem once you get everyone up there. We would stay again and after a day the awkward floor plan was easily worked around. Great people and check in is very organized with good communication.

Summary: Recently hosted a small gathering of family - 11 of us - to celebrate my Mom's 90th bday. We also had friends drop by the 2nd day to join in festivities. Easily slept 11 of us. You can't beat the view from the house and all sorts of amenities which we weren't able to enjoy - but hot tub and sauna. House was very clean, comfortable and just perfect for what we needed. As I was leaving the last day, I lost my car keys and the housekeeper (I am so sorry I can't remember her name - Tina or Tracey? ) stopped everything to help me look. She was amazing as were the those that helped me with details checking in. I definitely give this 5 stars but to help those that may rent, there are not a ton of dishes, silverware and such if you have more than 8 or 9 people. Just toss in some plastic. Also, the elevator will be a must for those that have any problems with stairs. All access to the inside of house is through outdoor stairs (which in some places are quite steep if you have short legs, but good booty exercise - ha) or through the elevator. A little bit of a strange design but easily workable. We were so lucky to be there when Christmas lights were out - so pretty. Lots of deck/porch space. Great yard. Wonderful time and great people! Highly recommend Beth

Summary: This is a very pretty house. It has great views, tons of space, and was decorated for the holidays. Overall we enjoyed our stay! There are a few things I wish I had known about the house before coming- not really complaints, but things that you can’t tell from the VRBO listing and if we had known we would have planned differently and brought other things with us: - The bunk beds you see in one of the photos aren’t in the house anymore. We had planned for kids to sleep there so we had to rearrange sleeping arrangements and we had to go purchase an air mattress for one of the kids. Wish we had known the bunk beds weren’t a real thing so we could have planned accordingly. - This house is unique in the sense that the three floors are completely separated from each other. There are no indoor stairs, but there is an elevator. All stairs are outdoor stairs. This is fine if you’re traveling with other couples or older kids, but we were traveling with little kids and it made it really hard at bedtime and nap time that parents couldn’t hear their kids on other floors. Not necessarily a complaint, but something I wish we had known ahead of time. -Cons: - There was a big ant problem. Ants were on every floor everywhere. They got into all of our suitcases and were just everywhere. Very annoying to deal with. They did come spray for it the first day, but with small kids we then had to keep them away from all sprayed areas. Second day there were thousands of ants in the kitchen that forced us to throw out the majority of our groceries. We were told by management it’s “just that time of year”. So after spending $100 on cleaning supplies, ant spray, and ant bait plus throwing out $200 of dollars in groceries we aren’t too pleased. By the third night, there were ants in the rooms and the beds. It was a mess and the management basically told us “too bad”. They quit replying to us about the problem and we had to deal with it ourselves. - The rooms on the second floor- the lights button wouldn’t work, which resulted in being able to dim the overhead lights but you couldn’t turn them all the way off. Very annoying to basically sleep with the lights on! - The refrigerator was not very cold. On second day we had to throw out two packs of meat that had gone bad because the fridge wouldn’t stay cold enough. Check the fridge before buying groceries. Overall this is a pretty house in the middle of Gadsden, but had a lot of annoying things to deal with.
